Dear friends,
My heartiest greetings to you all. It's my privilege to be here as the chief functionary of Chhotanagpur Vikas Manch (CVM), to present the Annual Report for the year 2019-20. CVM is proud to be a contributor to India's social development, particularly in backward districts in Jharkhand. I am taking this opportunity to share our information on the progress of our organization. We are happy to announce that despite lot of constraints we have been able to achieve our objective.
Our activities have been aimed to uplift the quality of lives from darkness of those people, who belong to Dalit Samaj, Scheduled Cast, Scheduled Tribes, living below the poverty line. Our tasks have been finding out the neediest people, giving emphasis to the vulnerable mothers & their children for the purpose to act in accordance with their need and to build their capacity as well by clubbing their activities with the integrated process of comprehensive social development.
We have always given emphasis to initiate need based program by the optimum utilization of local resources. During this year our activities have been multifarious, comprised of providing education to child labors, conducting crèche for little children of working mothers, waste land development program, vocational training, poverty alleviation, health awareness, women empowerment and many others. CVM has been successful to establish good relationship with rural people to interact, share information and mobilize available resources for the achievements of our organization. Our dedicated workers are active in 73 villages in 39 Panchayats spreading over 6 districts in the state of Jharkhand viz. Hazaribag, Chatra, Koderma, Dhanbad and Ramgarh for various project interventions.
Before I conclude let me express our sincere gratitude to all of our supporters and well-wishers and local community people of our project areas. We also acknowledge the dedication of our staff members at all levels for working diligently with high degree of commitment. I would like to take this opportunity to convey our special thanks and gratefulness to our donors such as NCLP Hazaribag, D.A.O. Hazaribag whose financial, technical contribution and guidance always help us moving forward to achieve our goal. However, with our limited resource we have just taken few steps towards our long journey. We welcome you all in this journey with us towards future prosperity so that in the coming years we can do better to achieve the mission of Chhotanagpur Vikas Manch.
